• those in the news who are in need today,
• the less fortunate across the world.

• God, creator of the universe and giver of life,
• God, source of beauty, truth and goodness,
• God, lover of justice and mercy,
• God, seen in human form in Jesus;

my soul waits for you.

'O Lord, you have searched me and known me.' (Ps 139)

Help me to see that:

• I am the one whom you and the world have made,
• I have failed in many things,
• I am so fortunate in many ways,
• I can serve you and others today.
