Electrical work completed, audio system installed, decorating finished. First services held in re-furbished surroundings.
6 October

Carpets laid, pews returned and polished, communion rail completed and cross hung. Site barriers removed, planting beds prepared, car park cleared and cleaned.
29 September
(wk 15)
Further electrical and joinery work done. Main floor sanded and re-sealed. External painting completed. Organ unwrapped and re-tuned.
22 September

Balustrade and handrails fitted outside. Further electrical and decorating work done inside. Communion rail constructed. Fittings installed for the lighting bar.
15 September

New front door hung, all doors and panels glazed. A good part of the internal decorating completed.
8 September

Radiators re-fitted, doors hung, and gallery rail constructed and installed. Decorating begun.
1 September

Plastering done in the new porch. Oak door frames delivered and fitting begun. Audio-visual cabling laid.
25 August

Gallery wall constructed. Electrical cables laid. Re-glazing completed and refurbished opening lights re-installed. Surplus furniture removed and front furniture re-polished.
18 August

All slabs now laid for the new entrance. Staircase fitted to the gallery. Gallery floor boarded.
11 August

Further slabs laid outside. Joists fitted for the gallery floor. New flooring added in the communion area.
4 August

Coping stones added to the external dwarf wall. Surface slabs laid on the new ramp.
28 July
(wk 6)
Framework for the new porch erected. Furniture dismantled and removed from the front of the church. Work begun on the new central steps at the main entrance.
21 July

Further work done on the ramp. Preparations made for re-positioned central steps. Church porch dismantled. Foundations dug for new porch wall.
14 July
(wk 4)
Church pews removed for storage. Cabling and plumbing stripped inside ready for the taking down of the porch. Dwarf wall built outside.
7 July
(wk 3)
Builders, Redfern & Strickland, arrive on site. Work begins on the main entrance. Foundations dug for the dwarf wall that will surround the new ramp.
30 June
(wk 2)
Metal-framed windows re-glazed. Red and yellow coloured glass replaced by blue.
23 June
(wk 1)
Windows stripped internally ready for re-glazing. Organ de-commissioned and sealed for protection.
