Setting your home page

As a regular visitor, have you ever thought of setting the Audlem Methodist Church website as your home page? (Your home page is the first page that launches when you log-on to the internet.) You can then be sure never to miss the latest news!

How do I do that?

If you use Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 as your browser, then look at the pull-down menus at the top of your current window. (From the left they will read 'File', 'Edit', 'View' etc.) Click on the one called 'Tools', then from the drop-down menu select 'Internet Options'. In 'Internet Options', click on the 'General' tab. The top part of this window, headed 'Home page', is where you can determine what your home page will be. Delete whatever is in the box next to 'Address:', and enter 'http://www.audlemmethodistchurch.org.uk' instead (without the inverted commas at either end). Then, at the bottom of the window, click 'Apply', then 'OK'. And that's it! Whenever you launch Internet Explorer, the chapel site should now be the first page you see.

If this doesn't work, or if you use a different browser and are unsure how to change the home page, email: webmaster@audlemmethodistchurch.org.uk for advice.
