Christian Aid Hunger for Justice

Rev'd Jennifer Matthews writes :

On Saturday 18th October, the Churches in Audlem will be supporting the Christian Aid "Hunger for Justice" prayer and action campaign by holding a Coffee Morning in St. James Church.

This will run from 10.00am to 12.00 noon and will have prayer stations around the Church, where people can interact with the issues of concern such as climate change, Gaza, Iraq, Syria etc.

Becky Hurst, from christian Aid,who is the Regional Coordinator for Cheshire and Cumbria, will also be there to give talks.

I hope that it will be well supported, since this is one of the ways that we as a Church can get involved with wider issues of social justice
