Audlem: Morning service is led by Yvonne Alcock

Hankelow with Woore: Carol service at 10.30am will be led by Graham Dimelow with hot drinks and mince pies served afterwards.


Next Sunday
Audlem: Obeth will lead the early communion service at 8.30am and Rev Robin Hilton will lead the service at 10.30am

Hankelow with Woore: At Hankelow Morning service will be led by Obeth
At Woore Obeth will lead the carol service at 2.30 pm

Audlem and district ecumenical carol service at 6.30pm at St James church.


The chapel Christmas card is now in the Hall for signing.


Saturday 20 December from 10am to 12 noon, Alan and Judy Patterson will be giving out small ecumenical Christmas gifts in the village.


Three T’s will meet next Sunday 21 December at 3pm Moorsfield Avenue


Winterley Methodist Brass Band are playing carols at St Leonard church in Woore on Monday 22 December at 6.30pm


Blue Christmas Monday 22 December 3pm at Coppenhall Methodist Church. A quiet reflective service for those who find Christmas hard.


The Methodist Church Advent campaign is called ‘Gifted’. The theme is based around individuals being a gift to each other, the church being a gift to the world and Christ being the greatest gift of all. As a way of joining with the campaign, we have recorded some short ‘Thought for the Day’ reflections each week in advnet that will be posted each Sunday in Advent and on Christmas Day. They can be found at Facebook-’ Gifted Advent


Have you an ‘Action for Children’ lantern collecting box? It is now time to have them emptied. Please bring them in to Fiona as soon as possible so that she can send the total to headquarters. However much or little, it all helps. If you haven’t a collecting box and wish to support this Methodist charity a donation in an envelope would be greatly appreciated. Your support continues to give children a safe and happy childhood..


Christmas Eve Midnight Communion here at AMC at 11.30pm will be led by Rev Obeth.


Christmas Day services: At Audlem There will be a family service at 10.30am led by Obeth
At Woore. Chris Denney will lead a communion service at 10am
