A Service of Thanksgiving for the life and ministry of the Reverend Gordon Ryder will be held at Wells Green Methodist Church, Crewe, on Monday 2 November at 2.30pm.  Livestream https://evt.live/gordon-ryder   Family flowers only, donations in his memory to All We Can and the Methodist Ministers’ Housing Society.

Coffee morning at AMC on Saturday 7th Novemher 10.30 to 12 noon.  All welcome to join us for coffee, cakes and a chat together with the usual stalls.

Winter Fayre at St Andrews Methodist Church, Aston on Saturday 7th November from 11am to 2pm. Coffee and Cake, Light Lunches, Craft stalls, Handmade cards, Tombola, Raffle, Bric a brac. Cash only.

Armistice Day Wednesday 11th November at 10.50am. A short act of reflection outside St James.

AMC Book Group:  The next meeting of our book group will be on Thursday 12 November at 2.30pm in the small room, starting with refreshments. The book chosen is ‘A Christian Guide to Environmental Issues’ by Martin J Hudson and Margot Hudson.  He is an environmental biologist and his wife is a director of theology education for the John Ray initiative.
