A fantastic total of £1200 has been sent off to the Methodist Church in Sri Lanka this week, being our donation to the urgent Humanitarian Assistance for the victims of Cyclone Ditwah. Simply THANK YOUfor your support enabling us here in Audlem to provide some small help to Obeth’s home country and the people of Sri Lanka.
The Methodist Church Advent campaign is called ‘Gifted’. The theme is based around individuals being a gift to each other, the church being a gift to the world and Christ being the greatest gift of all. As a way of joining with the campaign, we have recorded some short ‘Thought for the Day’ reflections each week in advnet that will be posted each Sunday in Advent and on Christmas Day.
