At Woore: The ecumenical Palm Sunday service at 11am will be led by Obeth.
All welcome to stay after today’s service for the Ecumenical Lent lunch at 12.30pm.
Please note that due to a clash with the funeral for Bill Cowen, 12.00pm at the Baptist Church, we will not be holding this month’s midweek service and lunch.
Book Group. The next meeting will be on Thursday 26 March from 2.30 – 4pm in the small room, including refreshments. The chosen book is ‘Bewilderment’ by Robert Atwell, who has been a university chaplain, a monk, parish priest and bishop. It is a scholarly account of the oddities in the ancient story of Jonah, brought alongside our current age of anxiety and our modern predicament. Newcomers always welcome to our friendly, small group.
Invitation to Lesley Peake’s Local Preachers Accreditation service. Thursday 26 March,7pm at Wesley Place, Alsager and refreshments will be available from 6.30pm. All welcome.
At the recent Local Preacher meeting Lesley Peake was unanimously approved for accreditation. This is a wonderful moment in the life of our circuit. Throughout her training Lesley has shown exceptional gifts for preaching and leading worship, together with a deep sense of calling, care and faithfulness. We give thanks for her ministry among us and offer our warmest congratulations to her.
Easter Coffee Morning here at AMC on Easter Saturday 4th April from 10.30 to 12.00pm. There will be a cake stall and the usual books and cards. Come along and enjoy the Easter offerings with tea, coffee and time to chat with friends old and new.
Our Circuit is inviting expressions of interest for the role of Circuit Steward. Circuit Stewards play a ital and rewarding role in the lie, leadership and mission of the Circuit. It is an opportunity to serve collaboratively, contribute to decision making, and help shape the future direction of our churches as we respond to God’s calling in our communities.

Crewe by Farndon chapel invite us to join them as they journey on the North Wales Pilgrims Way Stage 10 on Saturday 18 April 2026 from Bangor to Llanberis (11 miles). Walking through the spectacular Snowdonia Range as we pass the half way point, journeying towards Bardsey.
