Hankelow with Woore: At Hankelow.  Rev Chris Denney will lead the Confirmation and Membership service.                                       At Woore: A united service at the parish church.                                                            

A Service of Thanksgiving for the life and ministry of the Reverend Gordon Ryder will be held at Wells Green Methodist Church, Crewe, on Monday 2 November at 2.30pm.  Livestream https://evt.live/gordon-ryder   Family flowers only, donations in his memory to All We Can and the Methodist Ministers’ Housing Society.

Remembering Service on Monday 2nd November 7pm at St James or online on Sunday 1st November at 4pm.  Please contact audwybdod@gmail.com if you would like to join the online service.

Remembrance Sunday 8th November.  United service at St James at 10.30am.  Rev Alison will lead the service and Rev Obeth will preach.

No service at Hankelow who are also invited to the above service.

Armistice Day Wednesday 11th November at 10.50am. A short act of reflection outside St James.

AMC Book Group:  The next meeting of our book group will be on Thursday 12 November at 2.30pm in the small room, starting with refreshments. The book chosen is ‘A Christian Guide to Environmental Issues’ by Martin J Hudson and Margot Hudson.  He is an environmental biologist and his wife is a director of theology education for the John Ray initiative.
