Services this Sunday

Audlem: This morning's service is led by Robin together with Chris Denney. During this service we have five young people being Confirmed into Membership and the family of the church extends a big welcome and will prayerfully uphold them as they take this important step on their journey of life.

At Woore at 2.30pm Their Harvest Festival celebration will be led by Yvonne Alcock. Friends from Audlem and Hankelow will be most welcome.

We will be serving a Harvest Lunch at Audlem following the Harvest Festival service on 24th September – the sheet is now in the Hall to sign up if you would like to join us.

Root & Branch Travelling Exhibition is at Englesea Brook from 24 August to 30 September.

Englesea Brook are delighted to have worked in partnership with the Probation service to bring you this untold story in our new travelling exhibition: 'Root and Branch, How 5 shillings, faith and belief inspired the beginning of the Probation Service'.

You are invited to join our Ecumenical Autumn course: Matthew for Everyone by Tom Wright. The Gospel of Matthew is an account of who Jesus was, and is to us today. It is a beautifully crafted testimony that has been passed down to us by countless generation. This is our chance to engage with the second part of this Gospel in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. The writer Tom Wright I a contemporary Christian writer, known for his warm style, deep insights and faithful life. He will be our companion and guide on this exploration.

The course is held on Tuesday evenings at 7.30pm during October at St Chad's Church, Wybunbury. The dates are October 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st. Please contact Rev Alison to pre-order a course booklet priced at approximately £5.

ADVANCE NOTICE: Please join us on October 15th 2.30pm at Woore Methodist Chapel for an afternoon with guest speaker Allister Du Plessis from Release International, an organisation that supports persecuted Christians. Allister is the Engagement Manager for the Midlands and North and has recently visited Nigeria where many hundreds of Christians have been killed in recent years. He has some very troubling but very inspirational stories to tell. Please contact Peter Goringe on to book your place. Refreshments to follow.
