Hankelow with Woore: At Hankelow: Local Arrangement

Hankelow with Woore: Mothering Sunday service at Woore Chapel on Sunday 19th March, at 2:30 p.m., led by Rev. Robin Fox. Followed by refreshments. All welcome.

Brass Band Concert on Saturday 25th March at St James Church in memory of Rodney Cottrell with proceeds being split between St James Church, Audlem Methodist Church and Overwater Wheelyboat. There are a few tickets still available from Williams newsagent or Overwater Marina.

The Lent course continues on Tuesday evenings at 7.30pm. Here are the dates and venues, all of which are in Audlem: 14th March at the Methodist Church, 21st March at the Methodist Church, 28th March at the Methodist Church.

Ecumenical – Lent Soup Lunches: (ie soup and a roll) all here I Audlem Methodist Hall. Three Lent lunches on Sundays 19 & 26 March and 2 April at 12.30pm.

We are responsible for providing soup on 2 April. There will be a sign up sheet in the Hall – please provide a largish pan of soup. Usually we manage about seven pans, quite frequently all different flavours! A donation for charity is taken at the end of the lunch.
