Audlem: The Early Communion service will be led by Chris Denney.

Morning service for Pentecost is an ecumenical serviced at the Baptist Church.

Please note that you cannot park on the road but car parking is available at Holmes Bank.

Directions from Audlem village centre – take the road towards Woore, past the Baptist Church and take the first right turn after that on the bad bend. You will see a large wooden shed in front of you and the gates to the right of that shed will be open so that you can park on the hard standing in the large yard.)


Hankelow with Woore: Morning service at Hankelow will be led by Maureen Morgan.

At Woore the service at 2.30pm will be led by Yvonne Alcock.


AMC Book Group: Our next meeting will be this Thursday 16 May at 2.30pm in the Seville Room. All welcome. The book chosen his time is 'Let Us Dream – the path to a better future', by Pope Francis and British journalist Austen Ivereigh. This book was born in the Covid lockdown, when Pope Francis felt that the world faced a turning point and a time of trial, but also opportunities presented by the crisis.


The new plans are now available in the porch. Do not be alarmed by the 3 LA's. The service on 23 June will be led by Mike Valentine, 7 July by the Young People and 18 August by Robin.


The Audlem Music & Arts Festival takes place over the weekend from Friday 24 to Monday 27 May. We are delighted to be hosting some acts over the weekend and would like you to come to support and enjoy. If anyone feels they are able to help with refreshments by providing tray bakes or similar, or help to serve teas and coffees there will be a sign up list in the hall next week.

Loud Mouthed Women, group of females and a festival favourite

3.40 – 4.40pm
Bowden Rugby Choir, the only English male voice choir of nearly 40 males and focussed on fun
Sunday 26 May
2-3 pm
The Hank Brothers quartet playing classic American country music

3.40- 4.40 pm
Sandbach Ukele Band a group of 20 playing a wide choice of music
Monday 27 May
2-3pm
Nicky Phillips will be entertaining with open-hearted songs she has written.


Saturday Coffee morning: Last week's coffee morning raised the grand total of £354. The next one will be on 1st June.


Rev Robin's sabbatical – Just a reminder that Rev Robin is now taking a sabbatical until 15th June.


'Threads through Creation' an exhibition at Lichfield Cathedral from 17 April to 2 June.
Spectacular stitching on a huge scale: creating the world with eight million stitches expressing God's love.
This is an astonishing display of twelve huge embroidered panels inspired by Genesis, the first book in the Bible. Textile artist Jacqui Parkinson retells its wonderful story in a vibrant combination of silks, hand-dyed materials, metallic leather, gold leaf – with eight million stitches. The exhibition is open from 10 – 5 Monday to Saturdays and from midday to 5pm on Sundays. Admission is free. Donations welcome.


Men's Woodcraft at Lightwood Green on Thursdays from 1-3pm. Join us in the design and making of wooden crafts. We make anything from planters to toys. All welcome for a brew and chat whilst we make. Email Andy for further information 1108lw5@gmail.com


North Wales Pilgrims' Way: As you may have seen in the last Circuit News, our Family and Children's worker, Marie Lumb and her team at Crewe by Farndon have been attempting to complete the North Wales Pilgrims' Way. They are completing the Pilgrim in stages and plan to walk Stage 2 on 19th May from 10.30am. You are welcome to join them! Stage 2 will be from Llanasa to Tremeirchion approximately 8.4 miles and will raise money through sponsorship for Maggie's, a charity supporting those with cancer and their families.
