At Audlem: Robin will conduct the Early Communion service at 8.30am and will also lead the Morning service
Hankelow with Woore: Morning service will be led by Peter Robertshaw
At Woore at 2.30pm – 'Treasure', cafe style service led by Yvonne Alcock. Worship, conversation, refreshments. If you wish please bring something you treasure, or a photograph.
Friday 26th May at 12.30pm – Thanksgiving service for the life of Jenifer Dobson.
People are invited to AMC to share in celebrating the life of Jenny, a familiar figure at the early communion service, and also a loyal member of the group which for many years kept the church grounds clean and tidy – affectionately known as 'The Sweepers Club'. Refreshments will be served afterwards in the church hall.
We are one of the venues for the Music Festival on the last weekend of May, so when we are hosting a musicals item we will be serving our usual delicious home made refreshments. Any volunteers to help that weekend or provide tray bakes please see Julia or Nancy May.
The weekend programme at AMC is as follows;
l Friday 26th May at 7pm Nastee Chapel who entertained at our recent coffee morning Admission by ticket only, available now, cost £10 or at the door.
l Saturday 27th May at 2pm Cake & Keys with Alexandra Westcott who is a professional and accomplished classical pianist and teacher.
l Sunday 28th May at 2pm Loud Mouth Women, festival favourites based in Newcastle under Lyme
l Sunday 28th May at 8pm Ukes Aloud led by Andy Townsend – followed by a workshop, bring your ukele if you have one!
l Monday 29th May at 3.30pm Making her festival debut, Gemma Rose capable of delivering anything from tender ballads to belting out party hits.
Sunday 28th May is Pentecost when we will be hosting an ecumenical service at 10.30am.
Saturday 1 June at 4pm Jill Williams will be ordained Deacon at St James. All are welcome to attend and support her.
