news .............and join us for freshly made pancakes. There will also be a cake stall, second hand books and a raffle. Any help in the kitchen and donations for the stalls will be greatly appreciated.

There are a few tickets left for Sister Act Jr which is being presented at AMC from Wednesday 6th March to Saturday 9th March. Contact Julia on 01270 811761 if you would like any tickets.

Nancy-May thought you would like to see the score sheet from Britain in Bloom North West which is
on a separate page.

Also see the flyer for An Evening of Praise & Fellowship, Testimony & Prayer on Friday 1 March at
7pm at Hankelow Chapel & Community Rooms, with special guest speaker PRAISE UKE.

The next meeting of the AMC Book Group will be on Friday 15th March at 2.30pm and is led by
Chris Denney. Our chosen book is,'Women of Holy Week: an Easter journey in nine
stories' by Paula Goodier which coincidentally is the book being used in the Ecumenical Lent
Course. Newcomers always welcome!

Ecumenical Lent Course: Paula Gooder uses her deep knowledge of the Bible and her creative imagination to retell the events leading up to Jesus' Crucifixion through eyes of the women who would have accompanied him. We will hear and see the events through the witness of these characters and think about what it would have been like to be there with them. Meetings are held on the following Monday evenings from 7pm:
19th and 26th February at the Baptist Church;
4th March at St James Church
11th March and 18th March at the Methodist Church
For more details, or to order a copy of the book (price approx. £8), please contact Rev Alison on
revalisonfulford@hotmail.co.uk or ring her on 01270 691555.

Audlem Lent Soup Lunches – These will be held here at AMC in the Hall on 17th and 24th March and all
are warmly invited to join both events. (There are only two as our production of 'Sister Act' precludes
holding them for the other Sundays).
