As part of our ongoing fundraising and to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, we have organised a Family Jubilee Trail around Audlem. It will take place over the May half term holiday between Monday 30th May and Friday 3rd June. Follow the picture clues and walk around the village in order to solve a special Jubilee puzzle. Suggested donation of £2 per child. Further information including the sign up sheet and our donations page can be found on our website www.audlemmethodistchurch.org.uk. Spread the word!!

Jubilee Coffee Morning
We are holding a special coffee morning to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee on Saturday June 4th between 10.00am and midday. Everyone welcome!
Volunteers willing to help in any way, particularly with serving, baking, manning a stall, providing a raffle prize etc. please see Fiona.

Jubilee Picnic Party at Audlem St James' Primary school.
Friends of Audlem School Association invite all to the party on Friday 27 May from 4pm – 6pm.
Bring your own picnic and blanket/chairs. Live music by Jody Jennings, singing by the children,
Pimms' and Prosseco bar. Cakes, ice lollies and Jubilee hats available to purchase.

From Rev Alison: After the service at St James on Sunday 5th June at about 12 noon, we will be having afternoon tea to celebrate the platinum jubilee of
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth. It will include tea/coffee and scones with jam and cream. You are all welcome to attend and join in what we hope will be a celebratory event.

The funeral service for Robin Thompson will be held here at AMC on Wednesday 1st June at 11am. Family flowers only and any donations will be shared between Audlem Methodist Church and RABI (Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution).

You will ALL be delighted to know that after 49 weeks the extensive work at our much loved Chapel is almost complete. During the process we were required to put in an interlinked fire alarm system, this means that all areas of our building are now protected, but I would like to share a word of warning, should the system go off, it is very loud and I wouldn't want people to be shocked or frightened.

Book Stall:
Now that the book stall is up and running again, if you have any books – fiction, non-fiction, children's, paperback, hardback, that you wish to off-load, please bring them along and they can be sold on the book table in the Sunday School to raise much needed funds. Fiona.

Door Stewards Wanted!
This involves welcoming worshippers and handing out hymn books etc. at the front door on a Sunday morning, usually just one Sunday a month. If you are willing to join this small team please see one of the Chapel stewards.

Flower rota
There is a list for volunteers who would like to provide a vase of flowers for a Sunday service. After the service these are then given to a member of the congregation who is not able to get to a service for whatever reason. You do not have to be a trained florist! Please see Nancy-May for more details.

Readers
We are currently updating the list of readers. If you would like to be added to that list please see one of the stewards. Those who are already on the list could you please confirm or otherwise that you are still available. Thank you.

Following the success of the live streaming, you will now be able to watch previous services at your leisure! Head over to the AMC website, www.audlemmethodistchurch.org.uk, click on the link 'Previous Services' at the top of the page and it will take you to the latest streamed service. On the left hand side of the screen underneath 'AMC – Sunday Services' is an arrow which, once clicked, will let you access any of the previous services.
