Final reminder: If you have an 'Action for Children' lantern collecting box it is now time to have it emptied. Could you please bring it and its contents to chapel as soon as possible so that I can send the total to their headquarters. If you are unable to get to chapel please give me a ring on 01630 653805 and I will happily collect it from you. However much or little there is in the box, every little helps! Your support continues to give children a safe and happy childhood.

Everyone an Evangelist -- Invitation to participate

I am planning to arrange an exploration of Evangelism using material provided by the Connexional Mission and Evangelism team -- see attached flyer and explanatory note about "Everyone an Evangelist".

The course comprises three gathered sessions. After the first session there is a six week course which I expect to be able to offer on Zoom following the book "Talking of God with Others". After the second gathered session there is the challenge of carrying out an evangelism project. The final gathered session reviews learning and experience.

I would like to arrange the first gathered session the week commencing 24 October, with the Zoom studies in November and early December. A second gathered session in mid January will launch a project with the final session in March 2023.

Before planning details of location and time for the first gathered session, I would like expressions of interest in participating in this exciting course by 10 October, so that a location can be arranged central to those interested. It would also help if you could indicate whether a daytime or evening meeting time is preferred.

Please share this opportunity with members of your congregations and ask anyone interested to contact me by e-mail at 1108steward3@gmail.com

Every blessing
