Saturday's Coffee morning raised the fantastic sum of £300! A big thank you to all who worked so hard to achieve that and also those who came in for a drink, chat and helped to raise that amount. Well done everyone.

Audlem Parish Council are also holding an emergency meeting on Thursday 7 August here at AMC to discuss the recent planning application, see Audlem Parish Council | APC Extraordinary Meeting 7th August: Planning Application for details.

Michael & Ruth Parrott invite you to: An Open House on Thursday 14 August, at 8 The Paddock, Willaston CW5 7HJ, 10am to 12 noon and 2pm to 4pm. Coffee, Tea, homemade biscuits and scones – am; Cakes and scones with jam and cream – pm. Donations to be split between: Leighton Hospital, The Royal Stoke University Hospital and The Brain Tumour Charity. Raffle, Bring and Buy.

The welcoming service for the new appointed ministers to our circuit, Rev Jo Mulliner and Rev Obeth Thevaneson is planned for Saturday 31 August at 4pm at St Stephens church in Crewe. (Please note it has been necessary to change the venue that was previously advertised as it coincides with the Nantwich Food Festival and so parking at Nantwich will be impossible). It will be lovely to see as many of you there as possible, to join together in welcoming our new ministers. The circuit are asking for volunteers to provide cakes for the occasion. l The next coffee morning will be on September 6th at AMC from 10.30am.

l Please note that we are welcoming the ever popular Winterley Methodist Band to give a concert on Saturday 20 September at 3pm, followed by refreshments in the hall. Tickets will be available nearer the time but please save the date.

l Concert by Audlem Voices on 10 October
