The next Book Group meeting will be on Thursday 8th June at 2.30pm here at AMC. The book chosen is 'The Shadow of the Galilean' by Gerd Theissen, described as the quest of the Historical Jesus in Narrative form. New faces always welcome.

Music & Arts weekend. Many thanks to everyone who helped to make us have such a memorable weekend. A wide variety of musical entertainment from Friday evening through to Monday evening was enjoyed by many as were the delicious homemade cakes.

Many compliments were received, not only of the refreshments but also of our building and the facilities we are able to offer. It was very special to take such an active part of the village weekend and we raised just over £550 for Church funds.

The Circuit Easter Offering service will be held on Sunday 11th June at 6pm at Wells Green Methodist Church. It will be led by Rev Sarah Butcher and Ruth Parrott, MWiB President. Light refreshments will be served after the service.
Saturday 1 July at 4pm Jill Williams will be ordained Deacon at St James. All are welcome to attend and support her.

The final item Sarah Horton has designed to celebrate 160 years of Audlem Methodist Church is available to buy in the Hall, or speak to Julia. It is a slim notepad with faint lines, made from recycled paper and wrapped in cellophane. £4.50 each.

The July 1st Coffee Morning will be a special one as along with the usual items on sale inside, we will have a Car Boot Sale outside and we are giving our own members and friends of the Chapel an opportunity to book their place first. Three slots have already been taken so if you are interested contact Fiona or Sheila or one of the stewards to book your pitch.
