Action for Children If you have an 'Action for Children' lantern collecting box it is now time to have it emptied. Could you please bring it and its contents to chapel before the end of September so that I can send the total to their headquarters. If you are unable to get to chapel please give me a ring on 01630 653805 and I will happily collect it from you. However much or little there is in the box, every little helps!
Your support continues to give children a safe and happy childhood.

Occasion Transport Some of the senior members of our congregation who are no longer driving, are now coming to our AMC activities. It would be really good if we could have a list of people who wouldn't mind being contacted if transport was needed for a trip, eg bringing to the mid week monthly service/lunch or Sunday service. If you feel you could offer your help in this way please speak with one of the stewards. Thank you.
AMC BOOK GROUP The next meeting for our friendly group will be on THURSDAY 29TH SEPTEMBER at 2.30pm in the small room in Audlem Chapel. The book chosen is 'Through a Glass Darkly. Journeys through Science, Faith and Doubt – a Memoir', by Alister Mc Grath, who is currently a Professor of Science and Religion at Oxford University. He is also a Theologian, a Natural Scientist and has been an Anglican priest in Oxford, as well as a prolific author and broadcaster who can be understood by ordinary people.
